Dr. Bricker holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Carleton University, and a BA and MA from Wilfrid Laurier University. He has been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree by Wilfrid Laurier University, which named him one of their top 100 graduates in the last 100 years. Darrell is also a Research Fellow with the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto, and at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) in Waterloo, Ontario.

Dr. Bricker is a popular public speaker who regularly engages with audiences around the world. He's written articles for publications as diverse as Canada's Globe and Mail and France's Le Monde. Dave is currently the Board Chair for the Canadian Consumer Specialty Products Association (CCSPA) and sits on the Board of Directors of Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada (FHCP). Dave previously sat on the board of Feed Ontario for 5 years.
Dave is a proud native of Southwestern Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University in Hamilton. He resides in Oakville with his wife and two children.
Kelly Grant's career in journalism began in high school, when she worked as a night and weekend tape editor at her local television station in London, Ont. She's been hooked on reporting ever since. After earning a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Kelly worked as a cop reporter and editorial writer at the Windsor Star and as a general assignment writer and Toronto city hall reporter at The National Post. She joined The Globe and Mail in 2008. Kelly has held a variety of posts at The Globe, including Toronto editor and Toronto City Hall bureau chief. She is now a national health reporter with a special interest in COVID-19, the intersection of politics and health, drug pricing and medical aid in dying. When not reporting, she can usually be found at the arena, cheering on her three sons.
Dr. Raywat Deonandan holds a PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Western Ontario, and is an Associate Professor and Graduate Director of the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Deonandan is a former Chief Scientist with the federal government of Canada, and is the Founder and Executive Editor of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Health Sciences.
Dr. Sarah Minwanimad Funnell is a First Nations family physician and public health specialist. Sarah is an Associate Medical Officer of Health at Ottawa Public Health and Director of Indigenous Health within the Department of Family Medicine at Queen’s University. Previously, Sarah offered primary care services for refugees, immigrants, homeless and Indigenous people. Since March 2020, Sarah has directed her attention towards supporting the COVID-19 response and advancing Indigenous Health Medical Education.
After completing medical school at the University of Ottawa (U of O), Dr. Funnell pursued her dual interests in family medicine and epidemiology through the five-year Public Health and Preventive Medicine Residency Program at U of O. She received her Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) in 2015.
Her background is Algonquin and Tuscarora and she grew up among the Mississaugas of Alderville First Nation. Sarah is on the Board of Directors of both the Indigenous Physicians Association of Canada and the Board of Directors of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Sarah is co-Chair of the Indigenous Health Committee at the CFPC and also sits on the Indigenous Health Advisory Committee at the Royal College. She is currently working with both colleges to improve Indigenous Health Curriculum in all residency programs. She is lives in Ottawa with her husband and three daughters. In her spare time she speaks to her plants.
Christina Litz is the Chief Brand and Commercial Officer of True North Sports + Entertainment, Manitoba's premier sports and entertainment company. True North owns and operates Canada Life Centre, the Winnipeg Jets (NHL), the Manitoba Moose (AHL), the Bell MTS Iceplex, and the Burton Cummings Theatre.
Christina has a long history in marketing, digital and strategy leadership roles at Canada’s biggest sports and entertainment companies including Woodbine Entertainment Group, the Canadian Football League, Corus Entertainment and Rogers Media.
A lawyer, Christina began her entertainment career as in-house counsel at CHUM Radio & Television. She is a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Law and briefly practiced law at Torys LLP.
