Jeffrey Jones is a veteran journalist specializing in mergers, acquisitions and private equity for The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business. Before joining The Globe and Mail in 2013, he was a senior reporter for Reuters, writing news, features and analysis on energy deals, pipelines, politics and general topics. His work has taken him from the Far North to the Deep South.
Catherine McCall is the Executive Director of the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance. Representing Canada’s leading institutional investors, which collectively manage assets of approximately CAD $5 trillion, the Coalition’s mandate is to improve corporate governance, including as it relates to environmental and social matters, at Canadian public companies and to assist institutional investors in meeting their stewardship responsibilities. CCGG also engages in policy development and works toward the enhancement of the regulatory environment to best align the interests of boards and management with those of their investors. As Executive Director, Catherine is responsible, together with the Board of Directors, for setting the strategy of the organization, leading policy development, overseeing regulatory advocacy and participating in CCGG’s board engagement program. She is a member of the Ontario Securities Commission’s Continuous Disclosure Advisory Committee and Chair of the International Corporate Governance Network’s Global Stewardship Committee. Catherine has the ICD.D designation.
As Director of Sustainability, Susan is responsible for leading the company’s sustainability efforts and supporting the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into the company’s strategy, business plans and decisions. She also supports the company’s interactions with external stakeholders, including ESG reporting and performance disclosure, to strengthen the company’s reputation as a sustainability leader. Susan has been with Cenovus and its predecessor companies since 2000 and previously served as Director & Treasurer, and Director, Investor Relations. She has also held roles in Corporate Development and Corporate Finance during her career with Cenovus. Susan is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.
Lee Hodgkinson is Head of Sustainability and Technical Services for Dream. As part of this role, he leads ESG strategic planning and execution for all Dream entities, and oversees the annual Corporate Sustainability Report, GRESB reporting, NZAM and UN PRI commitments, and TCFD alignment. He is also responsible for leading the Net Zero by 2035 working group and developing and implementing strategies across the group of companies. In addition, he oversees $30M+ annual capital budgets to improve asset value, building operations and energy performance. As a Professional Engineer and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional, Lee also brings over 13 years of engineering, construction, building automation and energy management experience to lead Dream’s Smart Buildings Master Plan, including the Holistic Building Management pilot project and healthy buildings initiatives.
