Luvenn Alphonso is General Manager at Blair Technology Solutions, who provides technology and customized IT strategies to enterprises across various industries.
His 28-year career extends across various functions from managing strategic relationships to cross-functional collaboration. In his role, Luvenn has been instrumental in assisting clients in realizing IT value by aligning vision, resources, and expertise to achieve their strategic objectives. His ability to bridge the gap between IT and business objectives enables clients to leverage technology as a strategic enabler and driver of organizational success.

Viet (he/him) leads economics research at the Dais as Manager, Economic Research. Prior to the merger, at the Brookfield Institute, Viet has done extensive work on the impact of technology in the labour market in Canada, the technology sector and workers, digital skills, and scale-ups.
His research has been cited widely in national media, and has impacted policies at all levels of government. He believes that research, when done rigorously, can not only help shape policy, but also bring attention to issues that impact those who have been left out of conversations about Canada’s future.
Viet holds a Masters of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics from the University of British Columbia. Being a queer immigrant to Canada, Viet also devotes significant attention to ensuring the field of economics is inclusive to all. He sits on the Canadian Economics Association’s Diversity committee, and co-chairs the Affinity groups working group.
Adrian Lee is an editor for The Globe and Mail's Opinion section, and the host of City Space, The Globe's podcast about the future of cities.
Previously, he was the Opinion editor at Maclean's and, before that, a digital editor for the magazine. His work has also appeared in The Canadian Press, CBC Radio and Television, and Agence France-Presse, among others. From 2016 to 2019, he was a juror for the Polaris Music Prize. As a fox rather than a hedgehog, according to the framework set out by Isaiah Berlin, Adrian writes on a wide array of subjects, from politics, technology and music, to television, sports and historical arcana.
Angel brings over 25 years of experience in fraud and risk management, strategy and analytics. She has led key initiatives including implementation of a suite of advanced analytics along with third party technology solutions to proactively detect and prevent financial crimes, and insurance crime. Most recently, Angel was a senior leader at Aviva Canada where she successfully led a team in developing and implementing data driven identification of fraud through advanced analytics.
Angel is a strong believer in the balance of art and science, which drives key successes and achieves goals. Angel holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Guelph. She serves as a youth leader at her local church, and, Angel is a competitive powerlifter at the international level.
