Single women represent a rapidly growing demographic in Canada, with their numbers reaching 4.3 million in 2022. This marks an increase of 400,000 compared to a decade ago, according to Statistics Canada. Despite this trend, discussions about achieving long-term financial sustainability often remain clouded by societal taboos and misconceptions. Yet, the journey to financial independence for single women doesn't have to be daunting. The right tools and knowledge – such as effective saving and investing strategies, career advancement and wealth management know-how – can make it easier for single women to secure their financial future.
