Katherine Scarrow is the manager of creative strategy at Globe Content Studio, where she develops content marketing programs for The Globe and Mail. Passionate about generative creative trends, design and AI, she leads the team's annual T&T trend report, keeping brands ahead of industry shifts. Previously, she was the editor of Report on Small Business. She holds an MBA from Ivey Business School and is driven by the intersection of creativity, data and emerging technologies in content marketing.
Carla Serrano is Chief Strategy Officer, Publicis Groupe and CEO, Publicis NY. His work has received several awards, including multiple SABEW Awards for Audio Storytelling, a Quill Award for Best Finance Podcast, and the Now Magazine Reader’s Choice Award for Best Podcast. He was also nominated for the Digital Publishing Award for Best Podcast.
Shazia Khan is the Social Strategist and Digital Insights Lead at Globe Content Studio. In addition to overseeing paid and organic marketing on Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit and other platforms, she utilizes data and analytics to help teams measure and understand the impact of their content across the full online landscape. Shazia also writes the Studio Vibes newsletter to share the latest insights on the content marketing industry.
Kiran Rana is the manager of content and podcast strategy at Globe Content Studio, where she oversees a team of content strategists, podcast producers, editors and writers to offer compelling storytelling across multiple mediums for The Globe and Mail. A journalist by training, Kiran melds her background in Canadian newsrooms with a marketing mindset to pitch and execute concepts that meet both advertiser and audience needs. In her role, she is the Executive Producer of numerous award-winning Globe podcasts including Stress Test, City Space and the newly-launched Happy Enough. Kiran holds a Master of Journalism from Carleton University.
 Kirstie Ciccone, Head of Strategic Solutions at The Globe and Mail, has 12+ years of cross-disciplinary media agency and publisher experience. She takes an innovative, client-centric approach to solutions for unique business challenges. Kirstie is an award-winning, data-driven leader responsible for managing a team of media strategists that leverage multi-channel media solutions to craft bespoke campaigns that deliver on client goals.
Adrian Cheung is the senior producer of The Globe and Mail’s daily news podcast, ‘The Decibel’. Prior to joining The Globe, Adrian spent over a decade in television and radio reporting for CBC News and Global News, with his work appearing on The National, World Report and Global National. He made the shift to podcasting in 2019 by launching and hosting the Toronto Star’s daily news podcast ‘This Matters’ and later returning to CBC Podcasts as showrunner of ‘Nothing is Foreign’, a weekly international affairs podcast.
Kasia Mychajlowycz is an audio journalist, and special projects producer at The Globe and Mail. She co-created two seasons of In Her Defence, a narrative series about women’s freedom and the justice system, which won a 2024 Gold Signal Award. In 2021, as senior producer, she helped develop and launch the Globe’s daily podcast, The Decibel. Previously, Kasia has produced for shows including NPR’s Planet Money, Freakonomics Radio, WNYC’s On the Media, and The Atlantic. Kasia reported, hosted and co-produced the limited series Cool Mules, for which she won a Gold Digital Publishing Award in 2021.
