Anna Petrova, Vice President Supply Chain for Kraft Heinz Canada, has more than 25 years of transformational leadership experience in operations and building best-in-class supply chains. She has a proven track record of identifying and implementing performance improvements to increase efficiency and output across the supply chain network. Through her time working at enterprise level organizations such as Conagra, Ferrero and now Kraft Heinz, Anna has gained deep knowledge of all areas associated with supply chain including logistics, digital integration, inventory management, production planning, procurement, customer service, transportation and warehouse management. Fostering and mentoring talent and taking teams on the journey of supply chain mastery has also been a key focus for Anna. Her dynamic leadership style and emphasis on modernization continues to define her career and influence the supply chain industry.

Jason Tasse is President and Chief Operating Officer and a proud 25-year employee of Lee Valley, the source for quality woodworking, garden and kitchen tools with more than 1000 employees, 19 retail stores across Canada and Veritas Tools, a world leader in woodworking tools design and manufacturing.

Tasse has achieved impressive results during his career with a proven track record delivering double-digit revenue growth. Under his leadership, he has led Lee Valley’s digital transformation, key systems implementations, long term strategic planning, leadership succession management, customer strategy and brand marketing direction, most recently shown in the award-winning “Let’s Do Something” campaign (www.leevalley.com/en-ca/discover/commercial-spots)

 

He is a current member of the Ottawa Board of Trade, CEO Council, and The Executives Council Canada, CEO and Presidents Ottawa Chapter, and recently recognized in the Globe & Mail’s 2021 Report on Business Best Executives Awards.

He earned his MBA at Queens University, holds a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University and a Logistics Certificate in Supply Chain Management from Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2000-2003, Jason was a professional lacrosse player in the National Lacrosse League, with the Ottawa Rebel.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Jason is married and has two sons. He enjoys developing his woodworking skills, helping in the garden and playing and coaching lacrosse. An avid community volunteer, Tasse is active with the Nepean Knights Minor Lacrosse Association Executive Board as a Coach for Nepean Minor, Nepean Junior, Ottawa Capitals, and Sacred Heart High School, and Founder & President of the Ottawa Axemen, a semi-professional lacrosse team.

Ann-Marie McIntosh

Erin Madro

Ann-Marie is responsible for leading the marketing and customer experience strategy at FedEx Express Canada. She leads a team of 900 employees across contact centres, global clearance and marketing, and is responsible for all local marketing activities including advertising, corporate social responsibility, product, public relations, retail network, and digital experience. Under her leadership, the FedEx Canadian marketing team have created corporate growth strategies for e-commerce, health care and international. Accolades for the team include a platinum ranking through the Contact Center Employer of Choice®, for 10 consecutive years for all three Canadian contact centres, as well as industry-awards for various advertising campaigns. Ann-Marie is also a member of the Board of Directors for Orbis Canada, a global non-profit organization that brings people together to fight avoidable blindness, restore vision, and help ensure no one loses their sight to a preventable, treatable disease.

Kathleen is an entrepreneur, innovator, and a leader in technology. Rita Trichur is an award-winning journalist. She is a Senior Business Writer and Columnist in the Report on Business. Her previous roles at The Globe and Mail include Senior Editor, Financial Services Editor, and Canadian business columnist for the Report on Business Magazine. Rita returned to Globe in July 2016 after spending about 2 ½ years as a reporter for The Wall Street Journal’s Canada bureau. She primarily covered domestic banks and insurance companies from Toronto, but also wrote a variety of other stories about Canada for the U.S. newspaper. Prior to WSJ, Rita spent more than three years at the Globe, initially working as a general assignment reporter in the Report on Business before covering the telecom beat. Rita has also covered financial services and economics for the Toronto Star, and has held various roles at the Canadian Press and the Ottawa Sun. She got her first byline at age 6 when the Toronto Star published her short story about a fish-stealing cat and paid her $10. Rita, who also speaks French, was born in Toronto. She has a Bachelor of Journalism and Political Science and a M.A. in Canadian Studies – both from Carleton University in Ottawa.
